Community Rules
1. You are solely responsible for the content or material you publish on your G-Blogs site.
2. The G-Blogs Team reserves the right to ban you from the service, or remove at any time without notice any material or content posted on your site, if you violated any of the Terms and Conditions (TAC) and the guidelines of the G-Blogs service.
3. The following conduct are strictly not allowed within the G-Blogs Community:
- Publishing offensive or objectionable content. You are expected to avoid posting of materials, content or even links leading to such material or content, which are considered sexually explicit, offensive, unlawful or plainly violative of the G-Blogs TAC (see Section III-A). NOTE: Any blog site found or reported to contain at least one (1) content which the G-Blogs Admin and moderators consider as pornographic, sexually explicit, offensive, unlawful or plainly violative of the TAC will be immediately banned.
- Cheating the code and design of the G-Blogs service. You are not allowed to practice any form of cheating against the code and design of the service to gain an unfair privilege or advantage, including but not limited to:
- Posting files disguised as an image, audio or video file Ex. Uploading a .sis file as an .avi file by altering the file extension or MIME type.
- Hacking in the form of
- Breaking into the system to copy, alter or disrupt the service
- Snooping to gain information about the service, its users or the network where the service is hosted
- Breaking into another user's account without consent, with the intention of stealing, altering or removing content or portions thereof
- Exploiting the processes or functions inherent in the service or system in order to gain an unfair advantage or harass other members. Ex. Locking out or deleting another user's account
- Finding means to download or access chargeable content or page link within the service for free
- Promoting or encouraging others to violate the terms of this service. You are not allowed to encourage other users of the service to violate the terms and guidelines of the G-Blogs service, including but not limited to:
- Posting links, instructions and other information on hacking the
- G-Blogs service or any of the myGlobe and partner services (e.g. myGlobe WAP, Gamezone, dloadtstation)
- Asking for information or encouraging other members to practice hacking or cheating the codes and design of the G-Blogs service or any of the myGlobe and partner services
- Asking for or encouraging other members to post any other material, content or link that are considered objectionable or unlawful according to the TAC
- Asking for or encouraging other members to feature content that promotes illegal activities, including but not limited to drug trafficking, human trafficking, prostitution, terrorism, illegal recruitment, scams, child abuse, copyright infringement and other forms of crime.
- Harassment of fellow bloggers. You are expected to respect other members, and are therefore not allowed to harass them or disrupt their use of the service. Reports on harassment will be investigated and given prompt action
4. On Private blog sites: Setting a blog site to private does not protect that blog site from being banned from the service, if the site is found to have violated any of the guidelines.
5. On conflicts and .blog wars:. We understand that conflict, in itself, is a natural element in online communities. Different people with different personalities and outlook in life do interact here in the G-Blogs community and, from time to time, will naturally have strong disagreements.
But too much conflict can be harmful and unhealthy to the general atmosphere within the community. We therefore do not tolerate such behavior. You, as a member of the G-Blogs community, are expected to respect your fellow G-Blogs users. You are also expected to avoid posting messages that clearly insult other users, individually or as a group including, but not limited to name-calling, cursing or throwing vulgar remarks, or direct insults against the person, group, or their family. Reports against you, if proven true and with compelling evidence, will be enough reason for us to ban you from the service.
6. Violating any of our Community Guidelines subjects the offending blogger to being banned from the service and its community. Once banned:
- The offender will no longer be able to login to his blog site. Instead he will be prompted with the message. You have been banned by the Administrator..
- The blog site of the offender, along with its content, will no longer be viewable or accessible in any way both by the owner and its visitors.
- The offender will no longer be able to use his G-Blogs account, which is also his myGlobe account, to access all other myGlobe Web portal services.
- The offender will no longer be able to use the mobile number that is tied to his G-Blogs account to create another G-Blogs account.
- In the case of offenses that rooted from hacking, the account of the offending member will be permanently banned
7. Policy on Idle accounts: Idle accounts are those owned by individuals who have not logged in to their blog site within a three-month period. If an account has been considered as idle, all of the blog entries and comments contained therein will be removed. The owner of the idle account will then be notified about the update the next time he logs in to his account.
